Atlanta rapper Jeezy to release new book

Renowned and highly successful rapper, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Jeezy from Atlanta engaged in an exclusive interview with Atlanta News First. During the discussion, he delved into the essence of his latest book titled “Adversity For Sale: Embracing Challenges,” which centers around conquering difficult times.

Jeezy emphasized the significance of adversity, a topic often overlooked, stating, “In tranquil waters, skilled sailors are not made. To achieve greatness, one must endure hardships and setbacks. I encourage my children to embrace failure as a stepping stone to success.”

The title “Ya Gotta Believe” contains a line that Jeezy used in the introduction of his highly acclaimed debut album “Thug Motivation 101,” which debuted in 2005.

Known by his real name, Jay Jenkins, Jeezy’s influence spans music, culture, community, and business, leaving an indelible mark in Atlanta and beyond for nearly two decades.

Often referring to himself as “The Snowman,” Jeezy’s repertoire comprises groundbreaking hits, platinum albums, and iconic mixtapes. His inspirational journey of triumphing over personal trials and transforming his life into one of success has touched the lives of millions worldwide.

In March, Jeezy was among the lineup of esteemed hip-hop artists, including T.I., for the “Legendz of the Streetz Reloaded” tour held at State Farm Arena.
